About

Danielle Schlunegger-Warner grew up amongst the shell shops and sand dunes of Ventura, CA. Her work is strongly influenced by curiosity, empathy, exploration, interactivity and natural history. 

Graduating with a BFA from California College of Arts in 2010 with distinction, Danielle received the All College Honors award for her work on The Marcus Kelli Collection. She was awarded the 2014 Affiliate Artist Award From the Headlands Center for the Arts in Marin, CA, and the Glean Residency in Portland OR in 2017

In 2023 Danielle will attend The Arctic Circle Residency, receiving an RACC Arts 3C Grant and Scientific Communication Fellowship at Oregon Museum of Science and Industry for her upcoming work studying diatoms in the Arctic Circle.

Danielle currently and lives and works in Portland OR, fabricating exhibits for Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and making art in her home studio.
